When the visitors came They did not know my tongue Yet addressed me by name I was too scared to run They revealed to me The secrets of life here Through telepathy I had nothing to fear Lights shine Devine Love crashing down From the sky to the ground They bestowed to me Technology From near and far to save our globe and our star I woke up in a field On the far side of this town Were these memories real? That’s when I heard the sound Invaders came from above Gray reptilian beings Defeated by love They’d never known that feeling Though my friends had all seen The rip in the atmosphere They did not believe me Refusing to see to hear Yet nevertheless Looking up at the sky I know the invaders left And only I can say why

Zero Hour 04:43
Be alarmed We’ll die with a whimper The warheads are armed Brace for nuclear winter Zero hour it’s not right Doomsday clock strikes midnight Los Alamos, Manhattan Nagasaki fat man Better the Devil you Know than the Bomb Hiroshima payload Better do as you’re told Little boy - a big stick Radiation sickness Better the Devil you Know than the Bomb In an arms race Nobody wins One last embrace And so it begins As time goes by And it’s the end of the line An eye for an eye Makes the whole world blind Some laughed, some cried Or said nothing at all Some warned us - or tried Did we not hear the call? Take your last breath And clutch at your pearls I am death The destroyer of worlds

You know, the in-fighting is really counter-productive And you know, don’t we all simply want social justice Why is it on me to be civil When I did nothing wrong I guess life is not that simple Did I do something wrong Are you smiling at me, do you think this is stupidity You still matter to me, can you treat me respectfully You can’t say who fired the missile No, I did nothing wrong I guess life’s just not that simple But where did I go wrong (Oooh) It’s not a fight to win, but I guess who’s keeping tabs I’ve taken many names in bold print - we’ve got dog fight’s weight in tags Why is it on me to be civil When I did nothing wrong I guess life’s just not that simple But where did I go wrong (Can we all Can we all) Is it so offensive that I think you’re so offensive I’ll pay no attention, no need to be defensive You can’t say who fired the missile No, I did nothing wrong I guess life’s not that simple Oh where did I go wrong (Can we all just Can we all just get along) Can we all just love Can we all just love Well I’ll be right back in a whistle Just listen to this song I’ll work this out real nice and simple I’m sure we had it all along

They don’t got an understanding of us Beyond a simple misconception of us Sing a lullaby to the fight we never won Sing a lullaby to the fight that’s never done So, ndada ndada ndada ndada dada n Dada ndada nda Dada dada dada dada dada n Dada ndada nda No they won’t get to us Everybody go unsharpen knives Peace and love tomorrow, move on with your lives Come on back a brand new host to the future But for now just sing your melody oh humor me Oh ndada ndada ndada ndada dada n Dada ndada nda Dada dada dada dada dada n Dada ndada nda Cuz they won’t get to us They’ll never break the dusk Sing a lullaby, sing it to your fight Don’t cry yourself to sleep Let your mind unwind; let your mind be a sunrise Get yourself back on your feet Cuz we won’t raise hell until tomorrow Your voice is fried, you’re tired of screaming for your freedom You vote, you hope your lines are something of a beacon There’s too much to lose to feel like a phantom Close your eyes and rockabye to your anthem Sing, ndada ndada ndada ndada dada n Dada ndada nda Dada dada dada dada dada n Dada ndada nda No they won’t get to us Don’t sacrifice your spirit finding ways to cope Let them smile, it’s fine to take back your hope The eyes you opened wide will join in meditation And in sixty years we’ll have celebration singing ndada ndada ndada ndada dada n Dada ndada nda Dada ndada ndada ndada dada n Dada ndada nda They’ll never get to us They’ll never know our love Sing a lullaby, sing it to your fight Don’t break your inner peace Let your mind unwind; let your mind be a sunrise Get yourself back on your feet And they’ll hear us out first thing tomorrow They’ll never get to us They’ll never break the dusk They’ll never get to us They’ll never know our love Sing a lullaby, sing it to your fight Don’t cry yourself to sleep Let your mind unwind; let your mind be a sunrise Get yourself back on your feet Cuz we won’t raise hell until tomorrow

Butterflies 04:01
Bring that smile over here I forgot what to bring to show & tell Bring your eyes bring your teeth my dear The butterflies make me well I don’t wanna be brave tomorrow Keep my eyes closed I don’t wanna make mistakes tomorrow Keep my mind froze I don’t wanna break tomorrow Keep my cries clothed I don’t wanna be brave tomorrow Keep my eyes closed I feel like a root-beer float But every pop sounds a bell Don’t need a bubble cuz I got a moat The butterflies make a sweet hell You called me a pearl Break me out of my shell I kinda feel like a girl The butterflies begin to swell I don’t wanna be brave tomorrow Keep my eyes closed I don’t wanna flake tomorrow Keep my mind grown I don’t wanna phase tomorrow Keep a light dose I don’t wanna be brave tomorrow Keep my eyes closed Dream of me And I'll dream of you Dream of me And I'll dream of you Dream of me Dream of you Dream of me Dream of you Dream of me Dream of me Dream of me

Dream Museum 04:45
Way back when Said astronaut Said espionage Some time they grinned “girl and guitar?” I asked why not I wasn’t trying to be a comedian Museum, a place to lock away The dusty dreams you scarred with doubt You have your answer I don’t need your laughter I was always serious You think I’m just delirious Museum, the place I locked away The dusty dreams you scarred with doubt Behind the glass, in lonely space So rest in peace my starry future Place your fears I’m not a relic Of your desire I have displayed All my decisions You redacted I wasn’t trying to be a comedian You can take your intentions and eat them Museum of dreams I locked away The hopes I had you scarred with doubt The ones you deemed so unrealistic So rest in peace my last try at trying In the dream museum by the billions

about

Olēka is the debut EP from Milwaukee-based Progressive-Dream Pop band Angry Fix. Olēka is an expressive album about the sorrows felt by how many moments in our lives simply slip away with time. Between world shattering events and highly personal times of crisis, many moments of our day-to-day lives become unmemorable Olēka looks to explore that feeling of sorrow through the lens of these bigger moments that overshadow the rest.
